Time for the tip of the week!!

Oh, this has changed my world.

I'd walked past this a bunch of times in the fabric shop, never really gave it a second glance.

Then, last week I was buying some stuff on Amazon (for the baby, not me :p) and I had to purchase another $x before I'd get free shipping, so I thought, what the heck, and clicked "Add to Cart".

And then it arrived:
 It's called "InvisiGRIP" and, it's this plastic you put on the backs of your rulers and templates in order to avoid slipping of the ruler while you cut.
 So, I grabbed my old rotary cutter, and sliced off a piece from the roll. Peeled the backing off, and slapped that stuff on the back of my 3.5"x24" ruler....

not sure if you can see it in the photo, but it's on there.

It makes quite a bit of difference actually - I've had no problems with all of my rulers and templates slipping since I got it. I love it!
